These terms govern use of the Shopify Product Pin website and Shopify application, including pin link rules, helper collections, generated storefront URLs, theme setup, plan limits, and related support surfaces.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Shopify Product Pin (the "App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Service.
These Terms apply to merchants, store operators, employees, contractors, and other authorized users accessing Shopify Product Pin through a Shopify store or this website.
2. Description of Service
Shopify Product Pin is a Shopify application designed to support collection merchandising and generated pin link workflows, which may include:
- Creating, updating, retrying, and deleting merchant-configured pin link rules.
- Selecting products and landing collections for pinned collection page experiences.
- Generating storefront URLs that reference product IDs or SKUs.
- Creating or updating helper collections when needed to support pinned product links.
- Theme snippet setup and confirmation for storefront collection rendering.
- Subscription plan, usage, and quota management related to pin link rules and products per link.
3. Eligibility and Store Responsibilities
To use Shopify Product Pin, you must maintain an active Shopify store and authorize the permissions reasonably required for the app to function.
- You are responsible for your storefront setup, theme compatibility, collection configuration, product data, SKU data, and final publishing decisions.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with Shopify requirements, applicable laws, advertising rules, and your own store policies.
- You remain responsible for reviewing generated URLs, campaign parameters, storefront output, product availability, pricing, and customer-facing disclosures.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Shopify Product Pin in a manner that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or technically harmful. In particular, you may not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, disable, or interfere with the Service.
- Use the Service to collect or expose data in violation of law or platform rules.
- Deploy misleading storefront flows, deceptive campaign links, or abusive promotional behavior.
- Use the Service in a way that could impair availability, performance, or security for others.
5. Fees and Plan Limits
Shopify Product Pin may offer different plans, feature sets, capacity limits, or pricing structures. Where paid plans apply, billing and subscription handling may be administered through Shopify.
Current plan capabilities may include limits on pin link rules and products per link. We may update plan structure, limits, or pricing from time to time. Any such changes will apply prospectively in accordance with applicable platform rules and notice requirements.
6. Generated URLs and Helper Collections
Generated URLs, helper collections, and theme snippet behavior depend on Shopify platform behavior, product data, collection data, store theme implementation, publication status, and network conditions.
You are responsible for testing generated links and storefront behavior before using them in production campaigns, ads, email, affiliate placements, or other customer-facing channels.
7. Intellectual Property
Shopify Product Pin, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain your rights in your store content, product data, collection data, and customer-facing materials. You grant us a limited right to process that content only as needed to provide and support the Service.
8. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of Shopify Product Pin at any time, including specific features, integrations, usage thresholds, or plan details.
Availability may depend on theme compatibility, Shopify platform behavior, network conditions, maintenance windows, and factors outside our direct control.
9. Disclaimers
Shopify Product Pin is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, campaign performance, search ranking, ad performance, or suitability for every store configuration or business model.
You are responsible for evaluating whether the Service is appropriate for your storefront, workflows, campaign requirements, and operational requirements before relying on it in production.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, campaign performance, or data arising out of or related to the Service.
Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Shopify Product Pin will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shopify Product Pin and its affiliates, officers, agents, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using Shopify Product Pin at any time, including by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the platform or other users, or if continued operation is no longer commercially or technically feasible.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, and data handling will continue in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted on this page unless otherwise stated. Continued use of Shopify Product Pin after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute relating to the Service will be handled in the legally appropriate forum determined under those laws and any binding platform requirements.
